How to convert JPG to PDF
- Drop your JPG, PNG or WebP files into the box above, or click "Choose images" and select them from your computer or phone gallery.
- Each image becomes one page, in list order. Use the arrow buttons or drag a row by its handle to reorder, and remove any image with the cross.
- Choose a page size. "A4 portrait" is the safe default for documents; "Fit to image" makes each page exactly as big as its picture, which is useful for screenshots. Then set a margin and a JPG quality.
- Press "Convert to PDF". The progress bar shows which image is being added.
- Press "Download PDF". The file is named after your first image, for example "passport-scan.pdf".
What people use a JPG to PDF converter for
Phones produce pictures, but forms ask for PDFs. If you have ever photographed a signed document, a receipt or a utility bill and then discovered the portal only accepts PDF, you know the problem. Converting the photos into one PDF solves it in a minute: photograph each page, add the pictures in order, and upload a single tidy file.
Typical examples include submitting proof of address and ID for a bank or rental application, attaching receipts to an expense claim, turning handwritten homework or exam answers into one file for a teacher, assembling a portfolio of design mock-ups, or saving a series of screenshots as a step-by-step guide. A PDF also prints predictably, so a batch of photos sent to a print shop arrives in the right order and on the right paper size.
The tool accepts JPG, PNG and WebP. JPG photos are embedded efficiently and PNG images are stored without loss, which keeps screenshots and line drawings sharp. Orientation information stored by phone cameras is respected, so portrait photos do not end up sideways.
Choosing page size, margin and quality
A4 portrait or landscape places each image centered on a standard page and scales it down to fit, keeping its proportions. This is the best choice when the PDF will be printed or when a form expects normal document pages. If you work with US paper, an A4 page prints fine on Letter with a small scale adjustment, and most upload forms do not care about the size at all.
Fit to image sizes every page to its picture plus the margin. Use it for screenshots, long receipts, or artwork where cropping or white bars would look wrong.
Margin adds white space around the picture. Choose "None" for full-bleed pages, or keep the small margin so printers do not clip the edges.
JPG quality only affects images that are re-encoded. If the PDF becomes too large for an email or upload limit, choose "Small file" here or compress the finished document with Compress PDF. To tidy up the output, you can combine it with other documents using Merge PDF or pick out individual pages with Split PDF.
Tips for better scans: shoot in daylight or under even light, keep the phone parallel to the page so text does not skew, and fill the frame with the paper to avoid wasted resolution. Crop out the table or floor beforehand in your photo app; this tool does not crop.
Why use this converter?
- Your images are not uploaded. Conversion runs locally using open-source code. Photos of IDs, contracts and medical papers never leave your device.
- No watermark, no sign-up, no page limit. Add as many images as your browser can handle.
- Full control of order. Drag or use the arrows to arrange pages before converting.
- Works offline. After the page has loaded you can disconnect and keep converting.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Every step happens in your browser. Your pictures are never sent anywhere, and the tool keeps working without a connection once the page is loaded.
Which image formats can I convert?
JPG (JPEG), PNG and WebP. Other formats such as HEIC from iPhones should be exported as JPG first; most phones can do this in the share menu or by choosing "Most Compatible" in camera settings.
How do I combine several photos into one PDF?
Select all the images at once or add them in batches, arrange them in the list and press Convert to PDF. Each image becomes one page of the same document.
Will the image quality drop?
PNG images are embedded without loss. JPG images are re-encoded at the quality you choose; "High" keeps them nearly identical, while "Small file" trades sharpness for a lighter PDF.
How can I make the PDF smaller?
Pick "Small file" as JPG quality, or run the finished PDF through Compress PDF and choose a size target such as under 2 MB.
Can I change the order of the pages?
Yes. Drag the handle on the left of a row or use the up and down arrows. The list order is the page order.
Do photos from my phone keep the right orientation?
Yes. Orientation data from the camera is applied by the browser, so portrait photos stay upright.
Is there a limit on the number of images?
No fixed limit. Very large batches can use a lot of memory, and over 50 MB in total the tool shows a warning; a computer handles those better than a phone.
